The food is sooooo good, I was never able to take a good picture because we ate it as soon as it came. The price is very inexpensive. We came every morning after we found them. “ Best restaurant in Siquijor and event the best service in Philippines!we came first time in a group of 5 and we were served our food at the same time - and everyone got it right and warm! This restaurant is run by a very sweet couple: Nitz and Ronnie. They will make you feel at home and their food is also fantastic. The Spanish omelette is so tasty I went every day during my stay in Siquijor to eat it. All products are fresh. Nitz even makes the bread. If you are in Siquijor you should try this restaurant, it is what every traveler traveling to Philippines wants to experience. They serve filipino food and you can ask as they’ll explain you the menu without problems. They have also some vegetarian options (omelettes) Thanks Nitz, thanks Ronnie. If we come back to Siquijor we would definitely look for you again. Thanks for all your hospitality and your food ( it really filled our souls) Location: they were on the main road but now as there are some constructions they moved a bit. Just follow the sign. ”
“ Absolutely loved this place! Nitz and Ronnie are the sweetest people ever and create such a lovely homely atmosphere along with good home cooked food. We went 5 times during our stay in Siquijor (4 breakfasts and 1 dinner) and would recommend basically everything but especially the banana oatmeal pancakes and the banana flambe was incredible. Very reasonable prices for the area and feels good to support such a lovely couple. They also wrote out some vocabulary for us on a piece of paper as we kept trying our Filipino with them! P.s. if you do go, make sure you sign their cute guest book! ”
“ We were up and ready for our day and on the hunt for some breakfast when we found this great little spot just off the main road. The place is ran by Nancy and Ronnie who could easily be two of the friendliest humans on the planet. They are two legends who didn’t stop smiling. Besides the service, the food was really good. Had a Spanish omelette with some sides of bacon and a Hungarian sausage. We were intrigued about the history of the Hungarian sausage being available on such a small island in the Philippines and Nancy enlightened us in the history of the Hungarian sausage. I don’t need to tell you that the sausage also tasted great. The portion size was big and each dish came with some fresh bread that Nancy had baked that morning. It was delicious. I had a brewed black coffee to drink and as a bit of a coffee snob I honestly wasn’t expecting anything too fancy, but the coffee they whipped up was superb. Taste was so good. Would recommend Need A Break cafeteria to anyone looking for a delicious value for money breakfast in a cute little setting in Siquijor. ”
